Zoar is home to approximately 175 residents. Many of the original homes from the Zoarite period still stand. Some are privately owned, and others were purchased and are maintained through the state. (HistoricZoarVillage.com) This organization offers tours and costumed interpreters, in addition to events sponsored by Zoar Community Association.
